These safe lawn darts can keep your kids occupied for a chunk of time. Lawn darts is a horseshoe type game for the back yard (not for indoors!) Players take turns seeing who can throw the top heavy darts in the circle placed an agreed distance away. Instruction should be reviewed so kids don’t throw the darts at each other but the general rules are easy and fun. Similar to regular darts, the yard variety requires two big skills: eye hand coordination and patience. Important social skills are also developed when played with a group. Learning to compete with others in physical activities is necessary for kids later in life and this game is definitely good practice!
